Here we are in Nova Scotia at the home of Eliot and Alexandra Angle. Their home was recently featured in the New York Times and there was zero chance that I wasn't going to reshare and love all over it.
Take a look:
For starters, how could you not enjoy that view? I love being near the water, and having it on more than one side would make me exceptionally happy.
Great colors for the kitchen. My over-sized American personality makes me wonder if I could live without the large appliances I've become accustomed to, but the aesthetic of this space is just nearly perfect.
The windows make me wonder if I would get anything done... it's one of the most idyllic settings I've seen.
So it's my Sunday happy place... Could you live here?
I know why you like this place but it makes me crazy! There's not a thing I like about that kitchen! But I'll totally come visit and love every second of it.ReplyDelete
Still friends?! ; )
Of course we'll be friends... I'll even have you over for a "no expectations" party on the deck!ReplyDelete
Probably one of the most peaceful and amazing place to be on earthReplyDelete
I think so too, Joseph- I'm ready to move in!ReplyDelete
The Serenity of this place! It seems like life would be the perfect Spring day all year round. I love the quilts on the beds, I would have never put those two different patterns in the same room, yet they are so beautiful and peaceful..a perfect escape!ReplyDelete
The interior reminds me of an insane asylum...good grief...ReplyDelete
Debi- Can't agree more!ReplyDelete
Anon- Well, fortunately I've never seen the inside of an insane asylum so I can't speak to that... Good thing is, we all have unique taste and there's a perfect space for us all. I'm thankful to know what I like and I'm sure the spaces you appreciate have just as much merit as this one!
Love it. Wish I could live there.ReplyDelete
Love all the windows and water, but I would need a sofa.ReplyDelete
Very simple, elegant and beautiful.ReplyDelete
Fabulous and gorgeous house. The panelled wall is the perfect architectural element to really make the white on white stand out.ReplyDelete
Nothing says cottage like a painted wood floor! Bravo!ReplyDelete
I thought it was a nicely understated, subdued take on modern and cottage concept. I didn't like the white and green chair in the dining room but if you can handle having nova scotioners for neighbors(if there are any neighbors) it would be great !ReplyDelete
Gorgeous an so uncomplicated! I absolutely love the wall colors. I would like to know what they are so I could go buy them first thing in the morning and paint all day!!!ReplyDelete
We weren't sure what to do for Memorial Day weekend... Thanks for the lead Nick!ReplyDelete
I'll charter the private jet and swing through Georgia on the way there ;-)
You best swing through Alabama!Delete
I could live there in July. November through April: NO.ReplyDelete
