It apparently doesn't matter what position you sleep in, it is bad for something. I am dealing with a pinched nerve in my neck right now, so it doesn't matter how I sit, stand or lie down, I am in pain. Went to Chirpractor yesterday, got an adjustment, think at times it might be better or that could be the copious amounts of Advil I am ingesting. Sorry, saw the topic and had to whine, Nick.
I just learned that sleeping on one's right side increases acid reflux but the left side can (slightly) increase heart attack risk.
ReplyDeleteThe conclusion? Our bodies hate us.
Thought the same thing, Raina- I barely sleep as it is... now I find out that'll just kill me too!

Yikes, Brenda! Hope you get to feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know how your pinched nerve turned out, Brenda. In my experience, chiropractors are really good in dealing with that.
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere that sleeping positions can show what someone's personality is. What do you think? Do you agree?
ReplyDeleteBruxism can be controlled. There are proper sleep techniques you can adapt.
