Thinking about doing something a bit edgy for your backsplash? Tired of the same old, same old?
Check out glass.
Most glass backsplash applications that I've seen do tend to be a bit more on the modern side, but traditional color options are out there.
Want to add a big splash of color?
Maybe you need a Honeysuckle backsplash...
Or if you can't decide on ONE color, do them all!
When you start shopping for your backsplash material, keep glass in mind. Think about ease of cleaning, smooth surface and limitless color options!

Just like any material, correct lighting can make or break the space. Glass can be lit from a variety of directions, though backlit creates some of the most dramatic results.

Awesome! I love this. Solid glass makes for the perfect easy-to-clean backsplash. It isn't the least expensive option but it is certainly one of the best looking.
ReplyDeleteexcellent! we use glass all the time because it is so clean looking. It's a completely under-used solution I think...
ReplyDeleteQuite honest, I have never thought about using glass as backsplash but after seeing those pictures... All I can say is WOW!
ReplyDeleteThere are some really awesome colors and I agree with Decor Girl, it will make a easy-to-clean backsplash.
Decor- Agree on all counts!
ReplyDeleteBob- VERY underused.
PJ- Looks pretty good, eh? Colors and styles are unlimited!
WOW - I do like this look - I am going to get the pliers and begin prying off my tile backsplash right now - go ahead and place my order for this.
ReplyDeleteLY MOM
I lurve this!!! (except for the rainbow one but whatever) I think my contractor would have thrown up in his mouth had I suggested it but I already have a few images like this in my NEXT kitchen remodel file... ; )
ReplyDeleteEver since I saw DreamWalls glass at Neo Con a couple years ago I have loved this. And as that first photo shows, glass works in a kitchen that's a little more traditional/transitional as well. Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteThese look amazing! I really like the blue glow backsplash, it looks like a contemporary bar in Soho.
ReplyDeleteMom- Glad you liked it... And YES, it'd look great in your kitchen.
ReplyDeleteMadame- Hopefully I'll be there for round 2!
Kim- Agree completely!
Gloria- Great comparison!
It makes your kitchen look modern. The backlit transforms it into a bar.
ReplyDeletethanks
